Privacy policy

This website uses no cookies. Apart from the analytics script described below, it loads no resources from third parties; fonts and images are served from our own server. License orders are paid on Stripe's payment page, which opens when you click the order button; the payment is processed by Stripe (see stripe.com/privacy). If you write to us by email, we use your details only to answer your request.

If you use the contact form, we store the details you enter (name, company, email address, phone number, topic and message) in our customer database, Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an EU data center, to answer your request. The form is processed by our own service on Microsoft Azure in Germany. If you came to the website through a link in one of our emails, the campaign details of that link (utm parameters) are saved with your request. Legal basis is the handling of your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the data when it is no longer needed for your request, unless retention periods require otherwise.

To see how visitors find and use the website, we use Umami Cloud, a privacy-friendly analytics service of Umami Software, Inc. (USA). Umami sets no cookies and stores no personal data: the IP address is not stored, visitors are only counted through an anonymous identifier that changes regularly. We see, for example, page views, the referring website or campaign, and clicks on order, booking and contact buttons. The data can be processed in the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Details: umami.is/privacy.
